Woo Sang-hyuk clocked 2m 28 in the men's high jump of the 2024 World Athletics Federation Monaco Diamond League at the Pong Vieux Louis II Stadium in Monaco on the afternoon of the 12th (local time). Woo Sang-hyuk got off to a good start. He crossed the 2m 16 in the first period. The 2m21 and 2m25 crossed in the second period. The 2m28 was exceeded in the second period. However, he did not exceed 2m31.
He tied for third place with Stefano Sotile of Italy. The winner of the tournament was Hamish Kerr of New Zealand, who recorded 2 m 33. The runner-up was Shelby McCuan of the U.S., who crossed the 2m31 mark.
