`You were excellent.' Tottenham praised Dragic for rediscovering → 'Competition" in the new season

The journey of Dragicin, the Romanian national team, stopped on the 3rd (Korean time). Romania finished first in Group E but lost 0-3 to the Netherlands, third in Group D, in the round of 16.
Coincidentally, the Netherlands has another Tottenham center back, Mickey van der Penn. However, the fate of the two was mixed again. Dragushin played full-time in the round of 16 as well as in three group matches.
Van der Penn, on the other hand, did not start a single game. Following the first and third group matches, he played as a substitute in the round of 16. He was deployed in the 24th minute of the second half against Romania. His position was also at left fullback, the backup of Nathan Ake (Man City), not centerback.
It's the opposite at Tottenham. Van der Penn was hampered by two hamstring injuries, but he built a combination of centre-backs with Christian Romero. At the end of the season, he changed his position to left fullback due to a line injury in the defensive line.
Van der Penn, who joined Tottenham last summer, scored three goals in 27 appearances in the English Premier League (EPL) in his first season. He beat Son Heung-min, who scored 17 goals and 10 assists, and was selected as the "Player of the Year" by fans.
Dragushin transferred to Tottenham through the winter transfer market in January, but played only nine games. He made only four starts, and played 424 minutes.
Dragushin made a fatal mistake in his second loss against the Netherlands. However, it caught everyone's eyes in the first group match against Ukraine. He had a 100 per cent contest success rate (5/5). He recorded 10 clearings, 3 possessions, and 2 shooting blocks.
Paul boasted a clean defense that he never played. It was the second time Romania had scored no runs in the Euro since the match against France (0-0) 16 years ago.
After failing to advance to the quarterfinals, Dragushin said on his SNS, `We have laid a strong foundation for a team that has shown enthusiasm and determination.' Then Tottenham responded. He praised Dragic for his excellent work throughout the tournament.
Dragushin will have to compete for a starting position again in the new season. He declared that there was no transfer, although rumors were raised that he would return to Italy's Serie A due to his unstable position at Tottenham.
Expectations are high for Tottenham Dragucin's turnaround.
