The youngest head coach ever in the Premier League, Fabian Wheeler Brighton, born in 1993, threw a brilliant bid.

At his inaugural press conference on the 2nd (local time), Coach Wheeler introduced himself as "Grounded One".

In the past, former coach Jurgen Klopp emphasized that he is a "non-special person", similar to the "normal one" that he brought up when he took office in Liverpool.

This is in contrast to coach Jose Mourinho Fenerbahce's 2004 reference to himself as a `special one' (special person).

Coach Wheeler, who blossomed his leadership by promoting German club Jeankt Pauli to the Bundesliga in the 2023-2024 season, is attracting attention at a young age of 31.

No other leader in EPL history has been younger than Whircheller. He is even younger than EPL stars Son Heung-min (32, Tottenham) and Mohamed Salah (32, Liverpool). There are also players in Brighton who are older than coach Wheeler.

stressing that he has a wealth of experience at various levels, Wheeler said "I know this is a huge task and a big challenge. You must maintain great courage and humility. If I wasn't sure that the team could do well, I wouldn't be in charge of the team."

He says "I call myself 'friendly authority'. Soccer is my passion. I want to improve every player with my best coaches"I try to use the power of ideas to persuade the players. I'll learn a lot so that I don't become the worst director."

The goal of Coach Wheeler, who took the helm of Brighton as replacement for current coach Roberto de Gervi, is to make Brighton a consistent top-10 team.

Brighton Chairman Tony Bloom, who praised Wheeler's data-driven approach and brave tactics, said "I don't want to call (the appointment of Wheeler) gambling. We put a lot of effort into appointing the director. This was the least risky option among our options."
