The fostering team of Songpa Little Baseball Team A (hereinafter Songpa Little A) has once again stood at the top.

Songpa Little A won three consecutive tournaments by winning all five games in the i-League (hereinafter referred to as the i-League) held at Hwaseong Dream Park Little Baseball Stadium from July 31 to 4.

The I-League was launched in 2022 by the Korea Baseball Softball Association, which was selected for the youth club league project for each sport that the Korean Sports Association colluded with, after forming a league by city and province. This year, it was sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the National Sports Promotion Agency.

In addition to traditionally strong defense and baserunning, Songpa Little A's Yook Sung-ban also exploded in offense, including catcher and fourth batter Kim Ro-hwi's three ground homers.

The highlight of the league's victory is the match against the Bundang Pangyo Little on the 3rd. Songpa Little A had three wins and Bundang Pangyo Little had two wins and one draw. The winner of the day virtually confirmed the team's victory in the league.

Both teams were determined to win the game. Until the third inning, it was held tightly with a 3-2 score, but Songpa Little A scored two more points in the bottom of the fourth inning to end the game 5-2.

"We applaud the players who did their best in each game under the hot sun, and thank coach Yang Ja-young for guiding us together," said Lee Kyu-hyung, head coach of Songpa Little A.

Starting with a 13-2 victory in the first match against Godeok Global Little, Songpa Little A won the league by winning five games: Nowon-gu Little 7-2, Namyangju Hangang Little 12-2, Bundang Pangyo Little 5-2, and Mapo-gu Little 13-2.
