A single step in winning four gold medal events with Chairman Chung Eui-sun

Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun joined all the archery teams of the 2024 Paris Olympics to encourage the athletes and share the joy of winning.

In the mixed final of the competition held at Anvalid in Paris, France on the 2nd, Kim Woo-jin and Lim Ji-hyun won two gold medals as they combined for the mixed team gold medal. Our national team's mixed team gold medal is the second after Kim Je-deok and Ansan won the first championship at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

Chairman Chung visited the stadium from the round of 16 early in the morning to cheer for Kim Woo-jin and Lim Si-hyun. After the game, he met the athletes in person and celebrated his second consecutive victory in the mixed team event.

The next day, on the 3rd, Chairman Chung visited the women's individual archery field and encouraged the athletes. Unfortunately, he comforted Jeon Hoon-young, who finished fourth, and cheered for our players who competed in good faith. He also gave generous praise and encouragement to the wonderful match between Lim Si-hyun, who won the gold medal, and Nam Soo-hyun, who won the silver medal.

Korea's archery team has taken four gold medals at the Paris Olympics so far. There is only one gold medal left for the all-around championship in men's individual competition. Chairman Chung Eui-sun is expected to visit the scene and cheer for the players in the remaining men's individual competitions. Attention is focusing on whether Chairman Chung will achieve the feat of five Olympic archery gold medals for the first time in history.
