The arbitrary administration of Korean badminton has finally been put on hold.

According to the Badminton Association on the 22nd, the fact-finding committee formed to resolve the recent 'Ahn Se-young's written statement' has been suspended for now.

After announcing the formation of a fact-finding committee on the 15th, the association held the first investigation meeting for the national team coach and coach behind closed doors on the 16th.

However, it turned out that the association had been working on dogmatic administration in the process of forming the investigation committee.

Chairman Kim Taek-gyu arbitrarily organized a list of five investigators without going through a board meeting, and the two (Chairman of the Human Rights Commission, Administrative Audit) appointed as insiders are known as the so-called 「Kim Taek-gyu Line」.

This has raised great suspicion about the fairness and neutrality of the investigation committee. Concerns have become a reality. Ahn Se-young (22, Samsung Life Insurance), who urged the association to reflect, was notified of the association's request to attend the investigation committee and virtually refused, saying, `What would the investigation committee say that has not been recognized by the Ministry of Culture.'

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued a correction recommendation on the 16th, but recently issued a correction order to stop the investigation committee's activities when the association did not respond.

Eventually, the association pushed ahead with arbitrary administration, causing division within the badminton world, and took a step back when it was met with public criticism.

The association said "The investigation committee has not been completely dismantled. Apart from the activities of the investigation committee, we plan to continue our interview with Ahn Se-young."
