Jung Woo-young leaves Stuttgart and confirms Union Berlin 'one-year lease'
'National Team Wings' Jung Woo-young (25) left Stuttgart on loan to Union Berlin.

Union announced on its official website on the 27th (Korea time) that it had hired Jung Woo-young as a lease condition for one season.

Jung Woo-young, who slowly lost his main position in Stuttgart since the second half of last season, was excluded from this season's plan and recognized a new nest.

Jung Woo-young, who made his professional debut with Bayern Munich in 2018 and played for Freiburg and Stuttgart, will play in the Bundesliga this season in his fourth club Union uniform.

"As Woonion has established himself in the Bundesliga in recent years and played dedicated football, we are looking forward to a new challenge at Woonion," he said.

"The Union transfer is a good opportunity for me to continue to show myself and improve in the Bundesliga," he said. "I already know the enthusiasm of the fans and the atmosphere of the stadium. I am confident that this is the right decision for me and want to contribute to the success of the team" he said.

Horst Helt Union Director "We are very pleased to have Jung Woo-young join Union. The versatile Jung Woo-young has the right attitude and lackluster will to adapt to any system as well as technical ability. Jung Woo-young will energize our offense. His experience and positive charisma will enrich our team."

Jung Woo-young has scored 19 goals in 111 matches in the Bundesliga so far.
