'Golden Youngest' Nam Soo-hyun (Cheongju City Hall) is a practicing bug.

Lim Si-hyun "Nam Soo-hyun is a real practicing bug. The amount of training is really high." I don't think there was a day when I took a proper rest while preparing for the Olympics. Since I was far from home, I did personal exercise almost every day in the athletes' village, except for the days I went home and came back from home.

There is a reason. Nam Soo-hyun has changed a lot since joining the national team. He changed all the equipment and posture. Nam Soo-hyun said "I think I've changed almost everything in terms of equipment, and I've reinforced my posture." Then "The director said that he was a middle school student, but now he is an unemployed team. Now that I'm an adult..." he laughed.

It is not easy to change posture in a short period of time. There is a reason why Nam Soo-hyun tried to do it somehow. Nam Soo-hyun said "I think he was trying to accept and change as soon as possible because the representative was selected and now he has to achieve his goal of winning 10 consecutive games."

Nam Soo-hyun paid off the effort. Nam Soo-hyun won a silver medal in the women's individual archery competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics held in Anvalid, Paris, France on the 3rd (Korea time). Unfortunately, he lost to Lim Si-hyun in the final, but he finished his first Olympics in his career with a team gold medal and an individual silver medal. Nam Soo-hyun said "My goal was to enjoy it as much as possible and show everything I prepared, but I'm really happy that I've achieved it to some extent. It was an honor to play in the final with Si-hyun."

Nam burst into tears after the final match. He said "I was really holding it in, but I burst out at the word that director Yang Chang-hoon said he was proud that he had worked so hard now."

Nam Soo-hyun had no experience in international competitions before this Olympics. Nam Soo-hyun is also the first person to participate in the Olympics as soon as he became a national standing army. However, he broke through the selection match that began in September last year and ranked third in the cut line by one point. He ranked first in the first individual match of the Special Match, a pre-adaptive training for the Olympics, and won a medal with his fearless shooting at the Olympics. Nam Soo-hyun said, `I will do my best to meet the words that the coach can achieve his prime for more than 10 years.'
