Shin Myung-joo, chairman of the Korea Shooting Federation, who took office in July just before the Paris Olympics, expressed his intention to resign voluntarily in just a month. In November last year, the Korea Shooting Federation failed to find a new chairman for more than six months after Hanwha Group, which had been the chairman for 21 years, left, facing a crisis of designation as a management organization. The Korea Sports Association conditionally suspended the designation of the shooting federation as a management organization at the 31st board meeting held on May 31, and the shooting federation managed to overcome the crisis of designation as a management organization as the new chairman.



But the crisis came again. Rumors have emerged that Myeongju Hospital is under labor supervision along with a recent wage arrears survey by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. Salary payments began to be delayed last year, and until recently, the number of unpaid wages reported to the Ministry of Employment and Labor alone reached 316 and 229 in processing. Athletes and fans are also embarrassed by the unexpected news that came right after the Korean shooting national teams' best performance in the Olympics.

Meanwhile, the Korea Sports Association (Chairman Lee Ki-heung) signed a medical agreement with Myeongju Hospital (Hospital President Shin Myung-joo) on October 26 (Thursday) to support rapid medical services and treatment for national athletes and leaders and executives and employees of the Korea Sports Association.
