'Genius' Kim Do-young (21, KIA Tigers) achieved the youngest-ever 30 home runs-30 steals in KBO League history.

Kim Do-young fired a two-run shot over the middle in the top of the fifth inning with one out and one on first base in the Kiwoom Heroes match held at Gocheok Sky Dome on the 15th. Kiwoom starter Heyesus rolled up a high-course fastball 149km outside. Center fielder Lee Joo-hyung chased the big ball, but it didn't go over the fence without difficulty.

With this home run, Kim Do-young reached the 30-30 mark after 20 years, 10 months and 13 days, and 111 games. Park Jae-hong's youngest 30-30 (22 years, 11 months and 27 days) and Eric Thames' minimum game (112 games) set in the 2015 season were simultaneously broken. He is the third Tigers player after Lee Jong-beom in 1997 and Hong Hyun-woo in 1999.

Kim Do-young achieved his first 10 home runs and 10 steals in the KBO League in April, and raised expectations by reaching 20-20 before completing the first half. After 29 home runs, he lost some pace, but he became the main character of the milestone when he drew an arch against Heyesus.
