"I don't think I can throw it today."

LG Twins manager Yeom Kyung-yeop's plan went wrong. He threw an ambitious game-winning move to the bullpen because foreign pitcher Hernandez threw only one game and declared surrender.

Ahead of the KT Wiz match to be held at Suwon KT Wiz Park on the 30th, head coach Yeom said "Hernandez cannot take the mound today."

Hernandez is a big-name pitcher that LG ambitiously brought to use as the first starter in the second half of the season. Meanwhile, manager Yeom, who judged that the four consecutive games against KT this week were very important, planned to use Hernandez as a bullpen about two times out of the four consecutive games.

Hernandez came out in the last game of the three consecutive games held in Jamsil on the 29th. Kim Jin-sung, who believed in the game on the 28th, collapsed and suffered a painful upset, so Hernandez's role in the game ahead of the game on the 29th was important. However, Hernandez went down the mound with three strikeouts in one inning. Hernandez left the mound too early, so LG turned the game around again by dedicating five runs to KT in the eighth inning.

Coach Yeom came to Suwon as an additional schedule. "I was going to go for about two innings yesterday (29th), but Hernandez seemed to be having a hard time, so I took it out. And I was going to have him throw about two innings again today, but he said he had clumping symptoms even after getting a massage and warming up his arms. It seems to be the aftermath of throwing a hard ball to the bullpen for the first time in a long time. He explained, "I have to play the role of an ace, but I can't overdo it, so I gave him a break."

On Hernandez's future use plan, Yeom said, `Choi Won-tae will play against the KIA Tigers on the 3rd of next week. If Hernandez had thrown the ball today, he would have started after that, but he won't throw it today, so he's going to play against SSG Landers on the 4th ahead of his original schedule."
