Smilegate Entertainment announced on the 22nd that it will hold 'CFS Summer Championship 2024' with VTC Online.

Marking its third anniversary 'CFS Summer Championship 2024' will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam, from the 25th to September 1st. Last year, Smilegate elevated the 'CFS Summer Championship" to a major major-level competition under the"Crossfire" esports authority"CFS" brand. This year, the number of participating teams increased, further increasing the size of the competition, and the prize money for the competition is $300,000 (about 400 million won).

The strongest players will gather in the first half of this year at the CFS Summer Championship 2024, which will be held under the slogan "BEYOND THE STORY". The top 10 teams in the regular leagues in five regions, Vietnam, China, EUMENA, the Philippines and Brazil, which took place in the first half of the year, will participate. Two more teams have been added than last year.




VASCO ESPORTS, which showed Brazil's strongest power in the first half of this year, 3BL ESPORTS consisting of Egypt's best players, CHENGDU ALL GAMERS, and Baisha Gaming of China, the strongest country in crossfire, will participate.

Smilegate placed five teams in each of the two groups according to their annual performances to improve the players' performance and to proceed with fun games. Each group will hold a group stage from the 25th to the 29th, and a total of four teams, including two group teams, will advance to the playoffs, which will be held at the Tay Ho Gymnasium in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Meanwhile, in addition to the matches of the world's top players, a special match will be held at this tournament. Smilegate will hold the 「China-Vietnam Amateur Exchange」 on the 24th, the day before the opening of the tournament, to promote exchanges between countries and regional leagues. A total of four teams from China's college students and Vietnam's under-21 amateurs will participate and play in accordance with CFS international competition regulations.




The competition will be available online and broadcast in five languages: English, Chinese, Portuguese, Tagalog and Vietnamese. Smilegate will also hold a special in-game event during the competition to win lucky CFS goods.
