'9-year contract', which is not common in the soccer world, is showing signs of appearing.
Sports media 'Sky Sports'The Athletic' reported on the 13th (Korea Standard Time) that Chelsea will extend its contract period with 'emerging ace' Cole Palmer (21) by two more years. If the contract is signed, the contract, which is until 2031, will be extended to 2033. Palmer will be 31 by 2033. It is a de facto 'life contract'.
Palmer moved to Chelsea from Manchester City last summer for a transfer fee of £42.5 million, and played in 45 games, including the Cup, in the 2023-2024 season, scoring 25 goals and 15 assists.
