Choi Joon-ho, who graduated from Bukil High School and was nominated by Doosan in the ninth place in the first round last year, is in the first division this year and has a 3-6 record and 5.10 ERA. Choi Joon-ho, who had been in the starting rotation since mid-July, suffered an ankle injury during defense in a home game against the Kiwoom Heroes in Jamsil on the 3rd.
In the top of the third inning, when Lee Joo-hyung hit an infield single in front of the first baseman with two outs and a runner on second base, Choi Joon-ho entered the first base cover and sprained his left ankle. He immediately changed to Kwon Hwi.
He was diagnosed with a partial rupture of the ligament in his left ankle after undergoing an MRI and ultrasound examination at the hospital on the 5th due to swelling. It is the view of the baseball community that usually a ligament rupture takes about eight weeks to return.
However, it's a partial rupture, so we're going to check it out again in two weeks.
As Choi Joon-ho left, Doosan eventually had no choice but to think about starting again.
Doosan manager Lee Seung-yeop said, `Choi Jun-ho will take some time,' adding, `Choi Seung-yong will wait for today's game (6th) and start against SSG Landers after three days of rest.' Manager Lee said, "'In case of Seung-yong, even if he takes the mound today, he throws less than 30 pitches.'" He will recover for three days and go out on Saturday. It is possible to do about 60 to 70 of them,' he added.

Choi Seung-yong came late due to fatigue fracture and appendicitis surgery. He was a starting candidate ahead of the camp, but returned as a left-handed bullpen agent needed for the team. Choi Seung-yong, who finally came to the first team on the 27th, has an ERA of 6.23 without losing or losing in four games.
Meanwhile, Yang Eui-ji of Doosan started as a catcher on the same day. Doosan made up the starting lineup with Jung Soo-bin (center fielder), Kim Jae-ho (striker), Jarrod (right fielder), Yang Eui-ji (catcher), Yang Seok-hwan (first baseman), Heo Kyung-min (third baseman), Kang Seung-ho (second baseman), Kim Ki-yeon (designated hitter), and Lee Yoo-chan (left fielder). Yang Eui-ji was excluded from the starting lineup for a week last week after Incheon SSG on July 28.
Manager Lee hoped Yang Eui-ji would give his last spurt, saying, `I put Yang Eui-ji in the lineup because he said he could defend the catcher today.'
