Then, Gangwon built a thick wall in the center to prevent Seoul from advancing. As of the 10th minute of the first half, Gangwon began to take a lot of ownership. Gangwon often tried to attack Kovacevic at once, but Kim Joo-sung and Yazan did not allow it.

The threatening scene was created by Seoul first. Kang Sang-woo hit through Lee Seung-mo's development in the 22nd minute of the first half. A cross was caught, but it was caught by Lucas behind him. Lucas' powerful shot was blocked by Lee Kwang-yeon.

Seoul began to gain momentum. In the 24th minute of the first half, the attack took place on the right side. Lingard turned the ball lightly taken by Kang Joo-hyuk with his head, but Kang's fighting spirit blocked it to the end.

Lingard performed a goal ceremony with Kang Joo-hyuk and a movement from the famous drama 'Woo Young-woo'. The two recently practiced Woo Young-woo's goal ceremony through Seoul's official YouTube.

Kang Hyun-moo prevented Gangwon's counterattack. Kang Hyun-moo hit it from a corner kick in the 45th minute of the first half. Kim Dong-hyun continued the ball with a non-stop shot, but Kang Hyun-moo hit it again. Lingard tried to counterattack himself just before the end of the first half, but his shooting choice was very disappointing. Seoul showed an overwhelming first half of Gangwon.

Gangwon added Henry and Cho Jin-hyuk at the start of the second half and replaced Lee Sang-hun and Kim Kyung-min. Seoul added Cho Young-wook instead of Kang Joo-hyuk.

Gangwon, which cannot back down like this, has been active from the beginning of the second half. In the third minute of the second half, Gangwon hit the penalty box for the first time in a long time. Cho Jin-hyuk caught the ball, but the shot did not break through Seoul's hand-to-hand defense.

Gangwon got closer and closer to Seoul's goal. In the fifth minute of the second half, Kim Dong-hyun gave Kovacevic an exquisite pass. Kovacevic attempted a witty shot over Kang Hyun-moo, but it went off the post.

Gangwon continued to increase its offensive as it took control of ball possession. In response to Gangwon's counterattack, Seoul attempted to switch to a Lingard-centered counterattack. However, Lingard's choice of pass today was a little disappointing.

Seoul missed the net. After going through Lingard in the 18th minute of the second half, Lucas stabbed the pass to the center. Cho Young-wook fired a shot after Lee Il-Chenko lightly stepped on it, but it was a side net. Everyone thought it was a goal, but Cho Young-wook missed the chance.

There was no luck in Seoul in the second half. Lingard's corner kick came up well in the 23rd minute of the second half, and Lee Seung-mo hit the net exactly on the head. Immediately, Lingard and Yoon Jong-kyu went out, and Kang Sung-jin and Ryu Jae-moon were put in.

Seoul missed a chance to run away one after another. In the 25th minute of the second half, it was delivered to Cho Young-wook through Kang Sung-jin and Ryu Jae-moon from the back. However, this time again, Cho Young-wook missed the opportunity due to disappointing judgment.

Gangwon added Yang Min-hyuk and Kim Kang-guk and replaced Yang Min-hyuk and Kim Dong-hyun. More than 34,000 fans came to the Seoul World Cup Stadium on this day, feeling the heated heat of the K-League.

Seoul strengthened its height in the 41st minute of the second half by putting Kwon Wan-kyu instead of Lee Seung-mo. Seoul even tried to shoot in the 43rd minute of the second half when Kang Sung-jin showed a one-man show, but was blocked by hand-to-hand defense. The game ended with Seoul's victory without any major variables in extra time.

With this victory, Seoul has made a clear leap forward as a favorite. As the recent trend is scary, there is a possibility that the gap with No. 1 Gangwon will be sufficiently narrowed. Seoul has won five consecutive league games for the first time in eight years since 2016. The strong flow played a part in the home game. Seoul has won seven consecutive games at home recently.

Gangwon put a brake on its rise as it was caught in Seoul. Still, it's still the team closest to winning. It depends on how it rebounds.
