Daejeon Hana Citizen Kim Jae-woo's fantastic mid-range shot that could blow away the tropical night was fired. However, Incheon Mugosa, the top scorer in the league, balanced the game with a header shot of 'Bang-A-Bang-Shooting'. As soon as the draw was expected, Gutek's theater goal burst with 10 seconds left before the end of the game, and Daejeon cheered for victory. It was a victory that blew away the jinx against Incheon.

Daejeon rang a victory in its home turf. Daejeon played the 27th round of 'Hana Bank K League 1 2024' against Incheon United at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th at Daejeon World Cup Stadium. The home team Daejeon ranked 10th (24 points, 5 wins, 9 draws and 12 losses) in the league, while the away team Incheon ranked 9th (28 points, 6 wins, 9 draws and 12 losses) in the league.

Daejeon head coach Hwang Sun-hong started Lee Chang-geun, Lee Sang-min, Kim Jae-woo, Kim Hyun-woo, Kim Moon-hwan, Bob Shin, Kim Min-woo, Kelvin, Martha, Kim Hyun-wook and Chun Sung-hoon. In response, Incheon dispatched Lee Bum-soo, Choi Woo-jin, Kim Gun-hee, Yonichi, Jeong Dong-yoon, Shin Jin-ho, Lee Myung-joo, Kim Do-hyuk, Park Seung-ho, Mpoku, and Mugosa. Coach Hwang said, `Incheon's opponent was one draw and nine losses. I didn't get it. I told the players to break the jinx this time," vowing to win.

The first half was summarized as 'one-shot murder' of Daejeon. Incheon attempted five shots from the beginning by increasing its possession with an active offensive, but there were no effective shots. However, Daejeon scored only one shot on goal. In the 35th minute of the first half, Kim Jae-woo, who caught the ball far ahead of the penalty box, fired a non-rotation mid-range shot. The ball, which was flying vigorously, fell in front of the goal and was sucked into the net. It was a fantastic mid-range shot to compete for the best goal of the season.

Trailing 0-1 in the first half, Incheon strengthened its offense by putting Gervo, who recovered from his injury in the 13th minute of the second half. Gersault's deployment saved Incheon's offensive flow. Two minutes later, the equalizer was scored. Mugosa shook the net with his head as if Jung Dong-yoon's cross from the right side of the box was shot in front of the goal. It was Mugosa's 13th goal of the season. The moment he became the sole leader in the league's scoring rankings.

Since then, the two teams have exchanged fierce battles. Daejeon put Gutech and Kim Jun-beom in the 30th minute of the second half without Martha and Lee Sang-min. Incheon also changed goalkeeper Lee Bum-soo to Min Sung-joon in the 35th minute of the second half and replaced Kim Do-hyuk and Ji Eon-hak. As a result, the two teams' joys and sorrows were mixed due to the replacement.

The goal was rarely scored, and the extra time in the second half was almost exhausted. Daejeon punched a high cross into the goal with keeper Min Sung-joon coming out. However, keeper Min Sung-joon fell entangled with defender Kim Gun-hee in front of him. At the same time, the punched ball failed to go far and fell in front of Gutech in the box. Gutek kicked the ball towards the empty goal. With the completion of the theater goal, it was the moment when Daejeon broke the jinx against Incheon. About 10 seconds after Gutek's goal, the game-ending whistle sounded. The Daejeon players hugged and cheered.
