Ulsan HD won the first game of 'Kim Pan-gon System'.

Ulsan HD, led by head coach Kim Pan-gon, won 1-0 at home against Daegu FC at Munsu Football Stadium in Ulsan on the 10th. Ulsan (13 wins, 6 draws and 7 losses), which ended its two-game losing streak, jumped to third place by beating the Pohang Steelers (44 points), who played one less game. Coach Kim won a valuable victory in his debut match for the Ulsan head coach. On the other hand, Daegu (5 wins, 9 draws, 12 losses) failed to win eight consecutive games.

Ulsan utilized a 4-4-2 tactic. Joo Min-kyu and Kang Yoon-gu led the attack with two tops. Rubik's Son, Jung Woo-young, Ko Seung-beom and Um Won-sang helped from behind. Lee Myung-jae, Kim Young-kwon, Kim Ki-hee, and Yoon Il-rok were located in Four Back. Cho Hyun-woo defended the goal.

Daegu was a 3-4-3 formation. Cesinha and politicians formed a three-top around the breakaway road. Jang Sung-won, Yoshino, Park Se-jin, and Go Jae-hyun coordinated the midfield. Kaio, Kim Jin-hyuk and Ko Myung-seok were in the three-back. The goalkeeper's gloves were worn by Oh Seung-hoon.

It was an urgent match between the two teams. 'Defending champion'Ulsan went through a transition period. Coach Hong Myung-bo took the helm of the South Korean national soccer A team, and there was a 'empty leadership'. Jeonbuk Hyundai (0-2) and Jeju United (0-1) faced a crisis in succession. The situation in Daegu was not good either. After winning 3-0 against Jeonbuk on June 22, it fell into a swamp of winlessness. He only accumulated 24 points in the previous 25 games. It was ranked 10th. They were competing for survival in the relegation zone with Incheon United (25 points), Jeonbuk (23 points), and Daejeon Hana Citizen (21 points), ranked 12th.

The game has begun. Daegu boosted the early atmosphere. In the third minute of the first half, Jang Sung-won attempted a pleasant shot. Ulsan countered with Kang Yoon-gu's shot. Daegu aimed for Ulsan's net with Cesinha and Lee Tal-ro shooting in succession. In particular, in the 17th minute of the first half, Lee Je-ro took a decisive opportunity due to an opponent's mistake. However, his right footed shot flew into the air in vain.

Ulsan, which overcame the crisis, scored a goal. In the attack situation immediately after the cooling break, he led with an opponent's own goal. Daegu's Ko Myung-seok gave up the lead with his own goal that he blocked the opponent's shot. Daegu counterattacked with Cesinha, but kneeled in front of Cho Hyun-woo's 'super save'. Ulsan closed with a 1-0 lead in the first half.

At the beginning of the second half, Ulsan took out a replacement card. Ataru took the ground instead of Kang Yoon-gu. Ulsan left a regret in the second minute of the second half, and Daegu left a regret in the fourth minute of the second half, as the politician's shots were blocked by the opponent's goalkeeper.

Ulsan once again used a replacement card. In the 15th minute of the second half, Yago was put in place of Joo Min-gyu. In the 17th minute of the second half, Daegu also put in Lee Yong-rae, Lee Chan-dong, and Edgar, excluding Yoshino, Park Se-jin, and Lee Tal-ro.

In the tight match, Ulsan took out Um Won-sang and added Kim Min-joon to change the attack. Daegu also added Park Jae-hyun without Jang Sung-won.

Daegu took a decisive opportunity in the fierce fight. Cesinha deceived the opponent's defense and attempted a right-footed shot of Park Jae-hyun's pass. But Cesinha's shot slightly missed the opponent's goal.

Amid Daegu's general offensive, Ulsan has stepped up its defense. Excluding Ko Seung-beom and Lee Myung-jae, Im Jong-eun and Jang Si-young were put in. Yago tried to shoot for Ulsan, but it was out of Daegu's goal post. Daegu put Park Yong-hee out of injured Ko Jae-hyun. The extra time was six minutes. Daegu actively attacked until the end. But I was in a hurry. Daegu's attack was not finished. I actively utilized Edgar's height, but it was less accurate. Ulsan showed its concentration until the end to end the victory.
