Gimpo FC burst a celebration of victory in two months. With Plana's winning goal in the 10th minute of the first half, he defeated the Ansan Greeners 1-0 and escaped an eight-game winless streak.

Gimpo won 1-0 against Ansan in the 27th round of the 'Hana Bank K League 2 2024' held at Gimpo Salter Football Stadium on the 17th. This game was the debut of Ansan coach Lee Kwan-woo. Lee had to taste the bitterness of defeat in his debut match.

Gimpo has not won eight consecutive games since the match against Busan I'Park on June 23. Kimpo coach Ko Jung-woon activated a two-top foreign attack by Lewis and Plana to win. Lewis has scored three consecutive goals in the league in recent years. Seo Jae-min, Choi Jae-hoon, Lee Hwan-hee, Kim Joon-hyung, Lim Do-hoon, Chapman, Lee Yong-hyuk, and Park Kyung-rok were selected as starters. Son Jung-hyun kept the goal.

Ansan formed an offensive team of Kim Bum-soo and Kim Do-yoon and Han Young-hoon. Kim Jae-sung, Choi Han-sol, Kim Rae-woo, and Kim Ki-hwan supported, while Jeong Yong-hee, Kim Young-nam, and Jang Yoo-seop came out as the three-back. The goal was scored by keeper Lee Joon-hee.

Plana's winning goal was scored in the 10th minute of the first half. Lewis's pass was correctly scored. The foreign attack duo's breathing shone.

Ansan, who gave up the first goal, launched a rough offensive. It took nearly 80% of the ball possession. However, he mostly stayed in the midfield. It did not create a threatening scene as it was not connected to the offensive line. In the end, he maintained a high possession throughout the first half and the second half, but failed to score a goal in the end.

Meanwhile, Seongnam FC and Cheonan City FC drew 2-2 after a slugfest at Tancheon Stadium. It was an interesting slugfest that came and went. Cheonan led with Mota's first goal in the 44th minute of the first half. Seongnam's Choi Pil-soo keeper blocked Lee Ji-hoon's strong shot, but Mota hit a second shot and shook the net.

But in Seongnam, there was Whois. At the end of the first half extra time, Ku Bon-chul's shot from the set piece was received by Huiz and shook the net with a bicycle kick. Park Joo-won, the Cheonan keeper, couldn't even move. The goal was recognized after a video review. The first half ended 1-1.

Seongnam took the lead in the second half. In the 18th minute of the second half, Oh Jae-hyuk was fouled while breaking through the penalty area and got a penalty kick. The penalty was recognized after a video review. Whois came out as a kicker to make it 2-1. Seongnam, the home team, was in the mood to win.

However, Cheonan's counterattack continued. In the 30th minute of the second half, Cheonan Tunkari equalized Kim Seo-jin's cross from the left. Since then, both teams have been fighting the heat and aiming for a goal. However, even with 10 minutes of extra time in the second half, the goal was not scored anymore.
