The NC Dinos took the lead KIA Tigers and succeeded in the winning series of the weekend's three consecutive games.

NC beat KIA 8-2 at Changwon NC Park on the 25th. At the bottom of the third inning when trailing 1-2, Kim Hwi-jip hit a come-from-behind three-run shot to celebrate his first 100 hits in his career. Starter Eric Jokish pitched two runs in five ⅓ innings, making his first KBO League start and first win since joining NC after 452 days against Hanwha on May 31, 2023, when he was a Kiwoom Heroes player. NC, which exchanged 1 win and 1 loss with KIA on the 23rd and 24th, succeeded in winning the last game of the three consecutive games on the weekend. NC's season record was 52 wins, 2 draws and 63 losses. KIA's starter Hwang Dong-ha collapsed with eight hits (two home runs), one walk, four strikeouts, and six runs (four earned) in four ⅓ innings, and the batters bowed their heads without making an additional point after the first run in the top of the first inning. KIA had 71 wins, two draws and 48 losses.

KIA won the first point. In the top of the first inning, Kim Do-young scored the first run with a double to the right with one out and second base made by first batter Park Chan-ho's right-handed hit and Kim Sun-bin's sacrifice bunt. In the following at-bat, Kim Do-young homered during Socrates' heavy hit, making KIA a 2-0 lead.

However, NC's pursuit soon began.

NC followed Kim Sung-wook by one point when he fired a solo shot to the left against Hwang Dong-ha after two outs in the bottom of the second inning. At the bottom of the third inning, Kim Hwi-jip fired a three-run shot to the left in the first and second bases with one out, which was made by Chun Jae-hwan's hit to left-center and Park Chan-ho's error at Davison's at-bat, and succeeded in turning the game around 4-2.

NC, which gained momentum, succeeded in pulling KIA Hwang Dong-ha off the mound with Davison's hit to left-center and Kim Hwi-jip's walk in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Kim Ki-hoon taking the mound in relief, NC scored an additional point with Kim Sung-wook's push walk in a bases-loaded chance that followed Kim Joo-won's walk with two outs and runners on the first and second bases. KIA first baseman Byun Woo-hyuk missed Do Tae-hoon's hit with the bases loaded with two outs, and in the meantime, two runners homered, widening the gap to 7-2.

KIA had a chance to score with Na Sung-bum's hit and Lee Woo-sung's walk after one out in the top of the sixth inning. NC put Kim Si-hoon on the mound instead of Yokishi, but even Byun Woo-hyuk got a walk, so KIA had a one-out full base chance. However, Han Jun-su, who played as a pinch hitter for Kim Tae-gun, poured cold water on him as he ended up with a double play by shortstop.

NC succeeded in advancing with Lim Ki-young's balk after Park Se-hyuk hit a double to right field after one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. In the first and second bases with one out that led to Kim Joo-won's walk, right fielder Choi Won-joon missed Kim Sung-wook's right-handed fly ball, and in the meantime, Park Se-hyuk homered and won 8-2. NC completed a six-point victory as Lim Jung-ho neatly blocked the eighth inning and Kim Jae-yeol scored no runs in the ninth inning.
