The NC Dinos escaped from their 11th consecutive nightmare.

NC beat Hanwha Eagles 8-2 at Cheongju Stadium on the 21st. Kim Hyung-joon drew three consecutive at-bats arches following a solo shot in the top of the fifth inning, a three-run shot in the top of the sixth inning, and a solo shot in the top of the eighth inning, taking charge of five RBIs, playing the role of the victory. Starting pitcher Lee Yong-joon won his first game of the season by pitching clean throws with two hits and one walk (one out) in five innings. NC, which suffered a two-to-three, ninth-inning walk-off loss to Hanwha the previous day and lost 11 consecutive games and the lowest, succeeded in breaking the chain of consecutive losses with the victory. Hanwha, which had 50 wins, two draws and 62 losses in a season-high four consecutive wins, tried to chase after starting pitcher Kim Do-bin with one out count and threw a bullpen, but the batters failed to attack Lee Yong-joon. Hanwha's season record was 53 wins, 2 draws and 60 losses.

NC made the first run from the top of the first inning.

With Park Min-woo and Choi Jung-won walking on base, Davison struck out, but even Kwon Hee-dong got a walk and took a bases-loaded chance with one out. Kim Hwi-jip took a 2-0 lead as he made a timely two-run hit to the left. Hanwha placed Han Seung-joo on the mound instead of Kim Do-bin, and blocked further runs by catching Seo Ho-cheol with a double play to the third baseman.

NC scored an additional point in the top of the fifth inning with Lee Yong-joon keeping the lead while pitching well. Leading hitter Kim Hyung-joon widened the gap to 3-0 when he made a superior solo shot against Hanwha's third pitcher Lee Sang-kyu. In the bottom of the fifth inning, Lee Yong-joon met a variable in which the check ball fell back after allowing a hit to Lee Do-yoon after two outs, but he met the winning requirement by catching the last out count with a fielder's relay play.

In the top of the sixth inning, Hanwha Jang Si-hwan took over the mound, and the rain began to scatter amid the NC attack. The referee eventually declared the suspension of the game as the rain increased with one out and runners on first and second bases made by Kwon Hee-dong and Kim Hwi-jip's hit. In the match that resumed in 43 minutes, NC made it 4-0 when Kim Hwi-jip stole second base with two outs and runners on first and third bases, which led to Seo Ho-chul's fly ball. With Kim Joo-won's walk added, Kim Hyung-joon drew a three-run shot to Jang Si-hwan on the left side, widening the gap to 7-0.

In the top of the eighth inning, Kim Hyung-joon rolled up a 123-kilometer folk ball that came into the high course outside in the 2B2S match against Hanwha Hwang Joon-seo, leading to a solo shot over the middle wall, making his first three-base hit in a row.

Hanwha added two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning with Jang Jin-hyuk's true hit and Lee Won-seok's timely hit with one out and runners on the second and third bases. However, it was not enough to catch up with the difference that had already been made.
