The Korea Sports Promotion Foundation hosts Jamboree for Korean-Japanese children at Olympic Parktel for three nights and four days

A total of 201 people, including elementary school students and officials from the 「Republic of Korea Foundation」 in Japan, participated in the event held at the Seoul Olympic Parktel for three nights and four days from the 4th, and the Sports Corporation provided all participants with free accommodation and event fees.
Starting with a visit to the Seoul Olympic Donation Monument for Koreans in Japan at Olympic Park, participants visited major attractions and theme parks in Seoul, including Gyeongbokgung Palace and Myeong-dong, and had a time to experience the excellence of Korea's proud history and culture.
An official of the Korea Sports Corporation said, "I hope this event will serve as an opportunity for Korean children in Japan to take pride as Korean people. We will continue to cooperate with the Korean People's Association in Japan in the future." he said.
Meanwhile, the Sports Corporation has been pushing for 'Jamboree for Korean-Japanese Children's Jamboree' since 2010, and this year was held again for the first time in four years since 2020, when it was suspended due to COVID-19.
