Korean soccer legends who participated in the World Cup will hold charity events.

Best Eleven, a traditional soccer media founded in 1970 and celebrated its 54th anniversary this year, announced that it will hold a 'World Cup Legend FC Charity Event' as part of Yeongdeok Football Festa with World Cup Legend FC (CEO Kim Joo-sung) and Gyeongsangbuk-do Yeongdeok County (Governor Kim Kwang-yeol).

The "World Cup Legends FC Charity Event" is an event in which Korean soccer legends who participated in the FIFA World Cup as a national soccer team hold charity games and soccer clinics with local residents to repay the love they received from their fans, and the fund raised through this will be returned to the local community.

The charity event will be held at Yeongdeok County Residents' Stadium for the second time since last year, hosted by Best Eleven, sponsored by Yeongdeok County, and sponsored by global sports brand Puma, as well as Saka, Ayoung FBC, Hotel the Foraswitz, Shizunov, Brg, Offside, and Aloys. This World Cup Legend FC Charity Football' is expected to be attended by 20 Korean soccer World Cup legends who are familiar with the name.

The charity event will be held in Yeongdeok County, which has grown into a representative soccer city in North Gyeongsang Province through Football Festa, and is designed to select local elementary, middle and high school soccer players who are growing steadily in difficult environments, donate scholarships for them, donate welfare donations for local social welfare groups, and strengthen friendship with ordinary soccer fans such as local residents through charity games. Some of the donations raised at the event will also be used as welfare funds for soccer players, including encouragement funds for local elementary, middle and high school leaders.

Prior to the event, the soccer exhibition room of soccer collector Lee Jae-hyung will also be operated at all times from 1 p.m. to add attractions to local residents and soccer fans visiting the venue with various soccer artifacts and stories that add value to soccer history.
