Jeonbuk, which aimed to lose consecutive games and escape last place, won a miraculous victory with Kwon Chang-hoon's theater goal.

Jeonbuk led with Andrigo's first goal in the 43rd minute of the first half in the 27th round of the home game against Pohang at 7 p.m. on the 17th at Jeonju World Cup Stadium, "Hana One Q K League 1 2024", but allowed Wandelson to equalize in the 26th minute of the second half. Kwon Chang-hoon exploded the theater's winning goal in the 9th minute of extra time in the second half when the victory seemed difficult. Kwon Chang-hoon stood out as a hero in his debut match, which he played seven months after joining Jeonbuk.

Jeonbuk, which had previously fallen to the bottom after losing two consecutive games to Gangwon (2-4) and Gwangju (0-1), scored 26 points with a victory in three games, raising the possibility of escaping to the bottom. Fourth-ranked Pohang (44 points) fell into a three-game losing streak.

Jeonbuk coach Kim Doo-hyun, who pledged to work hard with loudspeakers in front of Jeonbuk fans after the match against Gwangju, built a second line of attack with Hernandez and Lee Young-jae and Andrigo on the Tiago one-top. Kim Jin-gyu and Han Kook-young set up the midfield, and Ahn Hyun-beom, Hong Jung-ho, Park Jin-seop, and Kim Tae-hyun formed the four-back. Kim Jun-hong stepped up as a goalkeeper. Lee Seung-woo, Kwon Chang-hoon, Song Min-gyu, Park Jae-yong, and Jeon Jin-woo were included in the replacement list.

Pohang coach Park Tae-ha started Ahn Jae-joon, who was recruited from Bucheon last summer, for the first time. I set up a two-top with Yoon Min-ho. Lee Tae-seok, Eo Jung-won, Han Chan-hee and Hong Yoon-sang played as midfielders, Shin Kwang-hoon, Min Sang-ki, Jeon Min-kwang and Wandelsson took charge of the four-back, and Hwang In-jae defended the goal. Baek Sung-dong, Heo Yong-joon, Lee Ho-jae, Jung Jae-hee, and Kim Jong-woo were on standby from the bench. Giorgi missed the injury.

Jeonbuk led the game early in the first half. In the second minute of the first half, Hernandez headed Andrigo's cross but it went over the net. Pohang also launched a counterattack. In the 12th minute, Han Chan-hee's mid-range shot went off the post. Thiago's shot in front of the gate headed straight to the goalkeeper after receiving Andrigo's sensational pass in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Ahn Jae-joon's shot to the corner of the goal was saved by Kim Joon-hong.

In the 43rd minute of the first half, Jeonbuk scored the first goal. Hwang In-jae fired off a shot hit by Kim Jin-kyu in front of the goal. Andrigo put the ball right into the corner of the goal. He was likely to go to Pohang in the summer transfer market, but Andrigo, who turned to Jeonbuk, scored his second goal after scoring his Jeonbuk debut goal at Hyundai Gaby last month. Jeonbuk finished the first half with a 1-0 lead.

Pohang, in a hurry, pulled out two replacement cards at half-time. Lee Tae-seok and Yoon Min-ho were left out, and Jeong Jae-hee and Baek Sung-dong were put in. In the 11th minute of the second half, Kim Jong-woo was put in place of Han Chan-hee. In the 22nd minute of the second half, Pohang, which also put in Lee Ho-jae and changed the first and second lines, scored an equalizer in the 26th minute of the second half. Got a free kick opportunity in an area close to the penalty area line. Wandelson's left foot shot as a kicker crossed the goal line after hitting the bottom of the crossbar. Wandelson scored the season's matriarch at a crucial time.

Confused, coach Kim put Kwon Chang-hoon and Jeon Jin-woo in. Kwon Chang-hoon joined Jeonbuk this year and made his debut on the day after rehabilitating from injuries for a long time. It is the first time in a year and four months that he has participated in an official match since April last year. However, in the end, the `Kwon Chang-hoon card' did not work. Jeonbuk had a numerical advantage in the third minute of extra time in the second half when Shin Kwang-hoon was directly sent off after hitting Jeon Jin-woo in a scene that was not related to the ball, but failed to score an additional goal. In the 6th minute of extra time, Kim Jin-kyu's free kick slightly missed the post, and Jeon Jin-woo's shot hit the post. Jeonbuk didn't give up. In the 9th minute of extra time, Kwon Chang-hoon's left-footed shot aimed at the top of the net past the Pohang defender passed Hwang In-jae's height and hit the net.
