Britain's TBR Football reported on the 14th (Korea time) that Carragher thought Arne Slot would sell Endo.
Recently, rumors of a transfer to Endo have been steadily raised. This is the aftermath of coach Jurgen Klopp's departure after the 2023-2024 season. Initially, Klopp expressed high expectations by appointing Endo, and Endo ended with a great evaluation even though it was the first season of the English Premier League (EPL). However, everything changed after the slot manager took office.
Slot tried to identify defensive midfielders who fit his tactics during the preseason. Several players, including Endo, played the position. But the choice of slot was not Endo. Rather, Endo decided that it did not fit his tactics and expressed his intention to use Ryan Hravenberg and Stefan Weissetich as defensive midfielders. Since then, rumors of a transfer of Martin Subimendi have emerged, and it seemed that Endo would have to leave Liverpool completely.
Fortunately, Subimendi was not recruited, and Endo seemed to have an additional opportunity. However, Liverpool Legend's evaluation was different. Carragher decided that regardless of those news, Slot would sell Endo.
It was the opposite of how he always praised Son Heung-min, the same Asian player, saying, `The best player in EPL history.'

Carragher said "I think if you've been a starter in the previous preseason game, you'll have a good chance to start in the future. Slot used Hravenberg as No. 6 that day. What stands out in the defensive midfielder position is that all players except Endo have been put in. Early in the preseason, Endo struggled on the spot. I think Endo will leave, and I'm pretty sure. He is the opposite of what he wants in the role. I think I will use virtually every player instead of Endo, and I will use anyone instead of Endo."
Meanwhile, some British media predicted a possible transfer, citing other clubs' interest in Endo. England's The Sun could see Marseille bring an offer for Endo again, and Brendan Rodgers' Celtic could also compete. However, a transfer fee of 15 million pounds (about 26 billion won) may be a difficult amount for Celtic.
Even Liverpool Legend turned away Endo, who played last season. Without a turnaround, Liverpool's plan is unlikely to have any more endos.
