Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga (22) suffered an unexpected injury a day before the European Super Cup, the first trophy of the season.
According to sports media 'The Athletic', Camavinga collapsed holding his left knee during the final training session of the 2024-2025 European Super Cup final at Warsaw National Stadium in Poland on the 13th (Korea time).
Camavinga slipped while trying to dribble past his French team-mate Aurelien Chouameni after receiving a pass, apparently injuring his knee in the process. A painful scream reverberated through the stadium.
The training was immediately suspended. Colleagues gathered around Camavinga, devastated by the sudden rise of key resources. Veteran midfielder Luka Modric clasped his head.

Camavinga exited the stadium after receiving urgent medical attention. For now, it has been confirmed that it is not a cruciate ligament injury, but an internal ligament injury is suspected. It will be difficult to play in the final against Atalanta on the 14th.
Camavinga headed to the bench without being helped, but he seemed angry to anyone. Before entering the tunnel, I threw my vest on the floor.
Camavinga, who moved to Real from Stadren in 2021, has played a key role in Real boss Carlo Ancelotti's side for the past three years. Real won the recruitment competition with Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain at the time.
With a wide range of activities, mobility and sharp left foot, midfielder Camavinga has played 145 games so far, backing up two European Champions League, two Spanish Primera Liga and one FIFA Club World Cup.
He also played 31 games in the 2023-2024 season, leading Real to a double victory.

Camavinga, who participated in Euro 2024 for France, suffered an unexpected injury at a time when he showed his monstrous physicality during the pre-season and raised expectations for the new season.
Other than Camavinga, he will play atalanta without any major injuries. Kylian Mbappe, who left PSG to move to his dream club Real this summer, will start hunting for his first trophy in his official debut.
