More than 130 elementary and middle school students participated in the camp, which has been held every Monday and Tuesday for three weeks since July 29, to experience various leisure sports using the facilities of the value center such as smart sports, artificial rock wall climbing, and archery.
In particular, this camp was joined by the Korea Sports Corporation, the Korea Anti-Doping Committee, UNICEF Korea Committee, the Korea Institute of Counseling and Welfare Development, and Jinju Office of Education, and joined forces to grow the body and mind of the camp participants strong by operating programs such as 「Mind Health」 and"Improving Resilience".
In addition, former athlete Ki Bo-bae, a member of the Korea Anti-Doping Commission and gold medalist in archery at the 2012 London and 2016 Rio Olympics, participated in the camp to teach the basics of archery and practice together, which received great response from the participants.
An official from the Value Center said, `I hope that the youth and children had a good time with sports during the summer vacation' and added, `We will continue to prepare various programs for the healthy growth of the youth," he said.
