The list of A national teams to play in the 1st and 2nd rounds of the third Asian qualifying round of the '2026 North-China World Cup' to be held in September has been partially changed.

The Korea Football Association (KFA) officially announced on the 30th that it has selected a substitute due to an injured player in the A national team.

Two defenders have been replaced.

Kwon Kyung-won (Corpacan Club) injured his left calf. Cho Yu-min (Sharjah FC) was chosen.

Kim Moon-hwan (Daejeon) is left adductor muscle injury. Hwang Jae-won (Daegu) took the opportunity.

"Neither player was seriously injured, but it was decided that he would be unable to play in the best condition during the call-up period, so he was replaced by this call-up," the KFA explained.

The South Korean national football team, led by head coach Hong Myung-bo, will anchor against Palestine at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on September 5. It is the first match of the third qualifying round where direct tickets are given to the second place in the group. On September 10, he will leave for Oman in the second leg.
