The bronze medal is sour too.. North Korea's Bang Chul-mi 'It's not what I wanted, I don't feel much about it '

North Korean women's boxing Bang Chul-mi won the bronze medal, but she didn't smile.

North Korea's Bang Chul-mi won a bronze medal alongside South Korea's Lim Ae-ji (Hwasun County Office) in the women's 54kg boxing class '2024 Paris Olympics'.

Bang Chul-mi and Lim Ae-ji were defeated in the last four. If there had been a bronze medal match, there would have been a match between the two Koreas. Boxing does not play a bronze medal match separately and gives medals to both of the semi-finalists.

So, the medal ceremony was held only after the final match was over on the 9th and the gold medal silver medalist was decided.

Bang Cheol-mi also held an official press conference with Lim Ae-ji.

Lim Ae-ji was consistent with a blunt expression and dry tone unique to North Korean players.

Lim Ae-ji said "I didn't talk to him because I thought there was a situation where I couldn't speak. In such an atmosphere, I thought it was rather rude to call me an older sister. I thought I shouldn't get closer"He confessed.

Bang Cheol-mi only wanted the gold medal.

Bang Cheol-mi said "A bronze medal is not what I wanted. I don't feel very good about it."

On the other hand, Lim Ae-ji was happy to win a medal by cheering up together. I hope to meet Bang Cheol-mi in the final next timeexpected " Bang Cheol-mi drew the line saying, `I have no other feelings than being ranked the same as a player.'

Meanwhile, North Korea has harvested two silver medals and four bronze medals.
