"I think I'm going to get a neck disc."

Three-time Olympic champion in Paris. Lim Si-hyun (21), the absolute ace of the world's strongest archery team, only made a calm joke.

It was a homecoming of gold.

The South Korean men's and women's archery team, which won all five archery events at the 2024 Paris Olympics, returned home to Incheon International Airport on the morning of the 6th.

The South Korean women's archery team won all five events, including 10 consecutive team events. Lim Si-hyun (21, Hankook University) and Kim Woo-jin (32, Cheongju City Hall) won three gold medals.

Kim Woo-jin, Lee Woo-seok (26, Kolon), Kim Je-deok (20, Yecheon County Office), and Jeon Hoon-young (30, Incheon Metropolitan City Hall) appeared at Incheon International Airport at 9:10 a.m. on the same day.

The key to the women's national team was experience. There were also voices of concern. All three athletes were on their first stage at the Olympics. There were no major players in the Tokyo Olympics, including Ahn San and Kang Chae-young.

It also meant that Jeon Hoon-young, Lim Si-hyun and Nam Soo-hyun, who participated in the Paris Olympics, were strong. However, it is an Olympics in which a single slip makes one step away from a medal.

In particular, this tournament was a stage where women's team events lost 10 consecutive games.

In particular, the burden of Lim Si-hyun, who had to play the ace by ranking first in the selection match, was beyond imagination.

However, Im has won gold medals in both the individual and mixed teams, as well as in the women's team event. Contrary to concerns over lack of experience, all three athletes showed the dignity of Korean archery by advancing to the semifinals in the individual event.
