The U.S. Dream Team struggled during the warm-up match. The actual class was different. South Sudan thrashed by 17 points

The warm-up match and the actual match were definitely different.

The U.S. defeated South Sudan by 103-86 and 17 points in the second Group C match of the men's basketball qualifying round for the 2024 Paris Olympics at the Lille Pierre-Morrow Stadium in France on the 1st (Korea time).

Nuni Omat (24 points), Kalik Jones (18 points, 7 assists), and Kuol Bull (16 points) struggled for South Sudan, but it was not enough.

South Sudan is a tough and unusual opponent for the United States.

There is no big name to play in the NBA. However, he showed strong performance in the warm-up match with good athletic ability and transition. In the first round of the qualifying round, they beat Puerto Rico by 11 points.

In the warm-up match against the United States, tall resources drove them to the brink of defeat with a three-point shooting bombing. However, just before the end of the game, LeBron James scored the winning goal and fell to his knees 100-101.

a triumphant, but losing result.

Coach Steve Kerr made changes to his lineup. Stephen Curry and James, as well as Devin Booker, Anthony Davis and Jason Tatum. It was a change that was wary of the three-point shot of South Sudan's tall wingman.

Curry was sluggish with just three points on the day, but the U.S. dream team was different. For now, the defense has completely changed.

In the last warm-up match, the U.S. had problems with its outside defense and transition games. However, this day was different.

The outside defense was thorough, and the rebound was also superior. In the end, the score widened to 20 points in the second quarter. Jones and Omat scored in the fourth quarter and chased by 14 points, but this was the limit.

The U.S. won the first game against Serbia with Durant's scoring shot, and Bam Adebayo and Davis' dunks with a thoroughly calculated 2-2 attack.

The U.S. Dream team showed a distinctly different performance in the Olympic finals. He won against Serbia and caught the dark horse South Sudan without difficulty.
