Suwon Samsung won 11 undefeated games.

Suwon Samsung, led by head coach Byun Sung-hwan, won 2-1 at home against the Jeonnam Dragons at Yongin Mir Stadium on the 18th. Suwon (11 wins, seven draws and seven losses) had 11 undefeated matches. On the other hand, Jeonnam (12 wins, 6 draws, 7 losses) failed to win three consecutive games. There were 9,263 people in the stadium, showing a hot cheering match.

Before the match, Jeonnam (12 wins, 6 draws and 6 losses) was ranked second and Suwon (10 wins, 7 draws and 7 losses) was ranked fifth. However, the atmosphere has been better in Suwon recently. Starting with the game against Busan I'Park on June 2, he was undefeated in 10 games. On the other hand, South Jeolla Province has had one draw and one loss in the last two games. Also, Suwon showed particularly strong performance against South Jeolla Province this season. In the first match of the season, he won by a whopping 5 to 1. In the second match, they left a 2-2 draw.

Ahead of the showdown, the coaches of both teams vowed to win. Suwon manager Byun Sung-hwan said, `From our point of view, it is a mountain that must be overcome anyway rather than a mountain over a mountain. Then I think it's right to pass it lightly in a good mood. I'm going to go over it lightly as I've prepared well.' Jeollanam-do coach Lee also said, `When we talk about our goals in the spring, we will bring a victory against each club. It was one of many goals. There is only one last round left. If only two teams, Suwon and Chungcheongbuk-do Cheongju, win, they can keep their promises. It's the last chance. So today, I will do my best to keep that promise."Suwon utilized a 4-3-3 tactic. Milat and Kim Ji-ho led the attack with Mulich at the center. Lee Jae-wook, Kim Bo-kyung and Hong Won-jin were located in the midfield. Lee Ki-je, Jang Seok-hwan, Han Ho-gang, Lee Si-young was located in the four-back. Park Ji-min defended the goal.

South Jeolla Province had a 4-1-4-1 formation. Hanam has made a one-top appearance. Placa, Lee Seok-hyun, Jo Ji-hoon and Noh Geon-woo were in the second line. Choi Won-chul stepped up as a defensive midfielder. Kim Ye-sung, Kim Dong-wook, Alikloff, and Yoon Jae-seok were in charge of defense. The goalkeeper's gloves were worn by Ryu Won-woo.

The game has begun. Suwon tasted a scoring shot four minutes after kickoff. 'New Face'Milat scored his K-League debut goal. He completed a powerful mid-range shot with speed in the counterattack situation. Mylat saw 'goal taste' in two K-League games.

South Jeolla Province, which is in a hurry, has increased its intensity of attack. Placa and Hanam shot consecutively. However, Jeonnam's offense was 2 percent short. Suwon closed with a 1-0 lead in the first half.

Jeonnam showed a winning move at the beginning of the second half. He used Valdivia instead of Lee Seok-hyun. Valdivia is leading South Jeolla Province with seven goals and four assists in 22 league games this season. Suwon also added Lee Gyu-dong without Kim Bo-kyung.

A tense fight broke out. Suwon made additional replacements first. In the 16th minute of the second half, Kim Sang-joon and Bae Seo-joon were put in place of Mulich and Milat. In a chaotic period, Jeonnam scored an equalizer. Hanam scored Noh Gun-woo's pass in the 19th minute of the second half. A foul was suspected in the previous situation, but VAR recognized it as a normal play. The game was 1-1 and back to square one. Jeollanam-do, which was balanced, made a change by adding Lim Chan-ul instead of flaka.

Suwon was unshakable. Just four minutes later, he completed a scoring shot to regain the lead. In the counterattack situation, Bae Seo-joon overcame the ball match with the opponent, and Kim Ji-ho, who accepted it, scored a come-from-behind goal. Suwon led 2-1 again. Suwon tried to score additional points by excluding Kim Ji-ho and adding Park Seung-soo.

The bench fight between the two teams has become more intense. Jeollanam-do put Bruno, Hong Seok-hyun, and Kim Yong-hwan in order without Alikulov and Noh Geon-woo and Yoon Jae-seok. Suwon also added Cho Yoon-sung instead of Lee Jae-wook. Jeollanam-do also actively attacked until the end. However, Suwon showed concentration until the end to end the victory.
