'Let me introduce the traditional K-culture that fascinated the world and the past, present and future of sports for the disabled in Korea.'

During the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games, the 「Paratim Korea House」, which promotes Korean sports and traditional culture for the disabled, opened on the 28th (Korean time).

The Korea Sports Association for the Disabled has set up a Korean house in a space of 210㎡ on the first floor and 238㎡ on the first basement floor of the `Showroom des Marais' in the Marais district of Paris, France. The Mare district is a 'hot place' to Korean tourists as it is lined with various shopping malls and pop-up stores.

The Korean Sports Association for the Disabled plans to promote Korea's sports history, culture, and tourism to Parisians and tourists visiting the Mare district by Sept. 6. This is the fourth time that the Korea Sports Council for the Disabled will operate a Korea House in a separate space during the Paralympics.

Starting with the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games, he has run the Korea House during the 2010 Vancouver Winter Paralympic Games and the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Paralympic Games. During the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games and the 2022 Beijing Winter Paralympic Games, they operated only online due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
