It's Korean archery, proving once again that it's the best in the world. South Korea's archery, which swept the men's and women's team gold medals, also cruised in the individual event.

All three Korean women's archery teams survived to the round of 16.

Jeon Hoon-young (Incheon City Hall) of the women's archery team beat Charlene Schwarz (Germany) 7-1 (28-25 29-29 27-26 30-26) in the round of 32 of the women's individual event at the 2024 Paris Olympics in Anvalid, Paris, France on the 2nd (Korea time). In the round of 64, they defeated Penny Healy (27-28-26 28-25 29-25).

Like the team event, Jeon Hoon-young struggled early in the game, but soon showed a strong performance as he found his pace.

'Ace' was powerful. In the round of 64, he defeated Rivera Alondra of Puerto Rico 6-0 (26-23 28-18 29-24), and in the round of 32, he defeated Reza Octavia of Indonesia 6-0 (28-27 27-26 29-27).

He showed his strength of No. 1 in the individual qualifying round and No. 1 in the national team selection round. They played perfect games in the round of 64 and round of 32.

From the women's team round of 16 to the final, the game will be held on the 3rd.

The previous day, the youngest Nam Soo-hyun (Suncheon City Hall) also advanced to the round of 16.
