Ring Championship-Thailand Fairtex Fight Former South Korean Player Lineup Revealed



On the 14th, the lineup of Korean players to compete in the exchange match between the Ring Championship and the Fairtex Fight at the famous Loomini Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, was revealed.

This is the first Korea-Thailand exchange match between Kim Nae-chul, CEO of the Ring Championship, and Prem, CEO of Fairtex Fight, and is considered a full-fledged first step in establishing the Ring Championship on the global stage.

First, Kwon Ki-seop (24, IBGYM), who plays Muay Thai, is a veteran of standing martial arts with a record of 23 wins and 6 losses. He plays for MAX FC and has won the championship title at WAKO PRO. Kwon Ki-seop has high expectations for this tournament due to his rich experience and strategic game management ability.



Choi Jae-wook (34, Samsan Jim) is a former KMF welterweight champion with a record of 15 wins and 7 losses. After a three-year hiatus, he returned to Japan's ACF in 2023, winning a victory and making a comeback. His rich experience and his rise after his return are expected to play an important role in the tournament.

The third Muay Thai player, Gu Tae-won (24, Yakjim), is a former WAKO national team member with a record of 17 wins and 10 losses. He has been active on various standing stages in Korea and Japan, and won a fourth-round TKO victory over Kang Yoon-sung in in Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province, in March to become the 58kg champion. In this competition, Koo Tae-won is expected to perform impressively with his unique batting ability.



Kwak Ryeong-pyo (17, Seolbong Muay Thai), the last Muay Thai player, is the youngest player to participate in the tournament and has a record of 13 wins, 5 losses and 1 draw. He is attracting attention by becoming the -60kg champion at the Mirme Cup National Muay Thai Championship in July. He is a rare Muay Thai player in Korea and is expected to be a high school student fighter with a promising future.

There are two matches for MMA matches. One of them is Kim Jong-pil (24, Sungseo Sun-jim). He experienced defeat in his professional debut, but he is a new fighter who has grown quickly with three consecutive wins. It shows a style that overwhelms the opponent based on its excellent batting and grappling ability, and is expected to show a remarkable game in this competition.



The other player playing MMA, Nam Dae-hyun (19), is a rising newcomer who won his debut match at Ring Championship 04 in April and signed an exclusive contract. He attracted attention by participating in the YouTube fighting content High School Heaven and boasts a solid fighting background. Nam Dae-hyun is the son of director Nam Ki-seok, a Christian pastor and practicing martial arts practitioner, and is considered a player with high potential in the fighting machine. In addition, Nam's older sister Nam Ye-hyun recently made her mixed martial arts debut in the 2015 Road FC Shanghai competition with Ian Xiaonan, who challenged the UFC title.

The tournament is expected to be an important first step in the ring championship's position on the global stage, and much attention is focused on how Korean players will perform.
