Incheon Shinhan Bank has named Hong Yoo-soon (19, 1m79), a Korean-Japanese, as the first overall pick.

Shinhan Bank, which has the first rookie pick in the club's history, chose Hong Yoo-soon in the 2024-2025 Women's Professional Basketball Rookie Draft held at Bucheon Indoor Gymnasium on the 20th.

Hong Yoo-soon, who dropped out of Osaka Industrial University, drew attention with her good physical condition and speed of 1m79. Position is center, but good at forward play. It is similar to Samsung Life Insurance's Lee Hae-ran.

have excellent athletic ability. In the Rookie Draft Combine, he won the overall first place in the Max Vertical Jump (step jump), Refit Jump (repeat jump), Rain Agility (aircraft-direction ability), Pro Agility (instantaneous reflex ability measurement) and Court Sprint (instantaneous acceleration speed).

In the tryout game, he also received the attention of team officials for his excellent transition, strong breakthrough, and solid defense.

Shinhan Bank, which secured the first pick early, struggled with Lee Min-ji, who has the best scoring ability in high school, along with Hong Yoo-soon. Shinhan Bank has already completed two weeks of joint training with Hong Yu-soon, and believed in his potential to improve his performance as the days go by.

In the end, Shinhan made a bold choice. I chose Hong Yu-soon.

Most of the team officials who watched the tryout match said, `Hong Yoo-soon deserves to be ranked first. Both the potential and the performance at this point are good."

Busan BNK, which had the second pick, also made an unexpected choice. Kim Do-yeon (19, 1m87) from Dongju Girls' High School in Busan was the main character.

Kim Do-yeon is the best big man in high school who rules under the basket based on her strong height. Boasting strong post-up play, he is expected to be a key center resource in the future to protect BNK's under the basket.

Bucheon Hana Bank, which is ranked third, also made an unconventional choice. Soongui Girls' High School's all-weather forward Jung Hyun (18, 1m78) was the main character.

Initially, Jung-hyun expected to choose at the end of the first round or early in the second round, but Hana Bank had a different idea.

The fourth-ranked Yongin Samsung Life Insurance named Choi Ye-seul (18, 1m79) of Chuncheon Girls' High School. Choi Ye-seul, who has good team play and defense, made an impact by showing a very solid play in offense and defense in the tryout.

Cheongju KB, ranked 5th, chose Song Yoon-ha (18, 1m80) of Sookmyung Girls' High School. Song Yoon-ha is the best big man in high school who has been active with Sookmyung Girls' High School's one-two punch along with Lee Min-ji. Small stature is a weakness, but strong power also works in professionals. In addition, post-up skills are high-quality under the basket.

The sixth-ranked Asan Woori Bank named Lee Min-ji (18, 1m74) of Sookmyung Girls' High School. At first, he was considered the biggest high school player and was considered the best scorer. However, after twists and turns, he was chosen by Woori Bank, the sixth-ranked bank.
