'Monster Goal Scorer'Elling Holan's remarkable record revealed Son Heung-min (Tottenham)'s greatness.

On the 17th (Korea time), the soccer media 'One Football' released the ranking of the English Premier League (EPL) scoring records over the past five years on its official channel.

The purpose of content planning is to shed light on Holan's record. It was noted that Holan, who played for two seasons, was ranked fourth with 63 goals and was ranked fourth in the `five-year scoring rankings.' Holan won the top scorer with 36 goals in the 2022-2023 season, breaking the EPL single-season goal record. He scored 27 goals in the relatively sluggish 2023-2024 season, winning the Golden Boot for the second consecutive year.

Holan beat Ollie Watkins (Astonville, 59 goals), Jamie Vardy (Leicester City, 56 goals), Callum Wilson (Newcastle, 55 goals), Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United, 54 goals), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United, 54 goals), Raheem Sterling (Chelsea, 54 goals) and Phil Foden (Manchester City, 53 goals) for scoring records in two seasons.

In the past five seasons, only three players have recorded more than Holan's two seasons, Mohamed Salah (Liverpool, 100 goals), Harry Kane (Weiermünchen, 86 goals) and Son Heung-min (78 goals). Kane has a record of 86 goals in four seasons, excluding his record since 2023 when he moved from Tottenham to Munich.

Son Heung-min scored 11 goals-17 goals-23 goals-10 goals-17 goals from the 2019-2020 season to the last season. In the 2021-2022 season, just before Holan entered the EPL, he won the joint top scorer with Salah. It is a glimpse of how consistently Son Heung-min has shown off his skills over the past five years.

Son Heung-min is ready to enter his 10th EPL season. The run to the EPL's ninth consecutive season of double-digit scores and the second top scorer in personal tally will begin with the away opener against Leicester City on the 20th. Tottenham is expected to play as a left striker in its original position, as it has acquired English national striker Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth through club records.
