On the 17th (Korea time), Turkiye journalist Yaz Quavunju Olu reported on his personal channel that Hent and Turkiye club Travjonspor have reached an agreement on Hong Hyun-seok's transfer.
It is a four-year contract, and Hong Hyun-seok said specifically that he will say goodbye to the Hent players and then move to Turkiye for a medical test. They plan to have a medical test as early as the 18th or the 19th.
Hong Hyun-seok's transfer rumors have been steadily raised this summer. As he has already been recognized for his skills on the Belgian stage and in the European club competition, he is likely to advance to the big league. There were also reports that German club Werder Bremen is interested in recruiting Hong Hyun-seok.
However, the team that consistently spread rumors was Trabzonspor. According to Turkiye media, Trabzonspor is in an atmosphere of embracing Hong Hyun-seok.
Turkiye media 'Haber Anric' reported on the 16th that Trabzonspor selected Hong Hyun-seok as Plan B in preparation for the failure to recruit Austrian national midfielder Muhammad Cham (Clemong).
Hong Hyun-seok, a left-footed attacking midfielder like Lee Kang-in, is from Ulsan HD Youth and has been on overseas stages since 2018, including Unterhatching, Junior Ross and LASK. In 2022, he moved to what is now Hent and scored 16 goals in 97 games.
Last year, he participated in the Hangzhou Asian Games and helped South Korea win the gold medal.
Trabzonspor won a ticket to the Europa League by finishing third in the 2023-2024 season in Turkey-YESHPER LIGA.

Hong Hyun-seok had already played seven games, including the Cup, in the Hent uniform, with two goals and three assists.
If Hong Hyun-suk joins the Trabzonspor, he will become the second Korean player ever to play in the Trabzonspor after Lee Eul-yong, a senior who is famous for his nickname 'Eulyong-ta'. Lee Eul-yong spent two years on the Turkiye stage from 2004 to 2006.
