'The Immortal Ace' Lee Woo-seok (Cheongju City Hall) won a brilliant bronze medal at the first Paris Olympics.

Lee Woo-seok won the bronze medal by beating Florian Unruh of Germany in the individual bronze medal match for the men's archery at the Paris Olympics held in Anvalide, Paris, France on the 4th (Korea time).

In the first set, Lee Woo-seok shot 10, 9, and 10 points, winning 29-27 against Unru who shot 9, 10, and 8 points to take two points.

After Unru shot 9 points first in the second set, Lee Woo-seok also shot 9 points. The second match was a side-by-side shot of Exten. After the third arrow, Unru, shot 9 points, Lee Woo-suk shot 10 points and took another 2 points, 29-28. They led 4-0.

The first arrow of the third set, Lee Woo-suk and Unru, shot 10 points side by side. After the second arrow Unruh shot eight points, Lee Woo-suk shot nine points. The last two arrows shot 10 points side by side, winning 29-28. It was a perfect 6-0 victory, and the bronze medal was decided in three sets.
