Lotte won 4-2 against SSG Landers in Game 13 of the season at SSG Landers Field in Incheon on the 1st. With the victory, Lotte recently lost two consecutive games, and also finished the three consecutive games during the week against SSG with one win and two losses. It also relieved the sadness of losing 11-12 in the 12th inning of overtime the previous day. On the other hand, SSG failed to win six consecutive games, stopping its winning streak.

The two teams, which had a bloody battle for 4 hours and 48 minutes the previous day, skipped the ground training before the game. With SSG Anderson and Lotte's Park Se-woong facing each other as starting pitchers, a tense pitching battle developed in the beginning. In the bottom of the fifth inning, leadoff hitter Ha Jae-hoon got on base due to Lotte third baseman Son Ho-young's throwing error, and succeeded in stealing second base. After that, Choi Jung walked out and went to first and second bases with two outs. However, Herredia's ground ball failed to get an additional point as it failed to escape the infield.

Lotte also finally had a chance in the top of the seventh inning. Leading hitter Reyes walked to load the bases after a full count match. In a chance situation, Na Seung-yeop struck out swinging, but first baseman Reyes came home as Son Ho-young's hit became a timely double in left-center. SSG left fielder Herredia's disappointing batting judgment overlapped, making it a long-shot course. Lotte is on a one-point chase. After that, Jung Hoon walked to get on base and filled the first base again, but Lotte failed to tie the game as Park Seung-wook's ball became a double play toward shortstop.

Lotte took the opportunity again in the top of the eighth inning. SSG second baseman Kim Sung-hyun missed leadoff hitter Hwang Sung-bin's ground ball to second base.
In front of the fence, SSG center fielder Jihoon Choi cleared Yoon Dong-hee's long ball with a good defense, and Lotte succeeded in tying the game 2-2 as second baseman Hwang Sung-bin turned around the third base and came home.
