Tottenham manager Angie Postecoglou sighed at Dominique Solanke's ankle injury ahead of the match against Everton.
Captain Son Heung-min's Tottenham will face Everton in the second round of the English Premier League (EPL) home opener at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at 11 p.m. on the 24th (Korea time).
The home opener, injury, bad news came out. Solanke, who was ambitiously recruited from Bournemouth for a £65m transfer to resolve his one-top absence this season, collapsed due to an ankle injury shortly after the away opener against Leicester City. He played full-time on the day, but his injury has worsened since then, so he cannot play against Everton. It is expected that a stable return will be possible only after the A-match break in September.

Rodrigo Bentancur is also uncertain to play against Everton due to a serious head injury against Leicester City. Postecoglou said "We strictly respect all protocols for head injuries, including concussions. "I will always be more conservative about head injuries. The good news is that he has recovered really well and completed all the concussion tests, but we will wait and see before putting Rodrigo back in the game."
Yves Bissouma, who was suspended from the opening game after a video of laughing gas inhalation was released online, is likely to return to the match against Everton.
Postecoglou said `Bissouma made the wrong decision, but it will give him a chance to learn from his mistakes,' and predicted his participation in the match against Everton, saying the relationship began to recover ahead of the match against Everton.
Tottenham drew 1-1 in the opening match against Leicester City on the 20th. Everton were thrashed 0-3 in their home opener against Brighton. Both teams desperately need to win the match.
