OK Savings Bank's Ethman Volleyball Team will start overseas training for the second consecutive year following last year.

OK Savings Bank said on the 24th that it has departed for Japan for overseas training.

OK Savings Bank will enter the country on Sept. 1 after completing its schedule in Shizuoka this year. New foreign player Manuel Lucconi (registered name Lucconi) and Asia Quarter Gigi Long will also join the training camp.

In this off-season training, he will also check his power through practice games with multiple teams. This year, the Japanese V League Division 1 Toray Arrows and Tsukuba University will play a practice game in the 2023-2024 season.

Toray is the team that advanced to the playoffs as sixth place in the regular league in the 2023-2024 season and finished third in the final. The Tsukuba University Volleyball Department is one of the representative volleyball departments in Japan's Kanto region, and it is a traditional volleyball department that has won 10 championships in all Japanese university volleyball tournaments.

The off-season training will be a process for new players to boost their breathing ahead of the Cup and V-League.

OK Savings Bank has many new faces joining during the offseason in 2024. There are many new faces among domestic players such as Lu Connie and Ki Sung-long, who should play the main role, as well as Shin Sung-ho, Jin Sung-tae and Jung Jin-hyuk. The club said "We plan to fill the complementary points of last season and increase our sense of practice through practice games with new players"

Ok Savings Bank manager Masayoshi Ogino "As there are many new players on the team, the process of putting them together through this off-season training is more important. It is important for the players to play volleyball in a fun way, but I want to strengthen the training intensity. "I will give opportunities to all players and create a team that can perform well even with a variety of players." he said.

Captain Bu Yong-chan said, `This training session is even more important to successfully play both the upcoming Cup and the V-League. As there are many new players who have joined the team, I will do my best to cover the players well and lead by example as a captain."
