'The eldest sister' Jeon Hoon-young (Incheon City Hall) and 'Super Aces' Lim Si-hyun (Korea National Sports University) will clash in the semifinals.

Jeon defeated Elif Gokir of Turkiye 6-2 (28-26 28-29 28-25 28-26) in the women's individual quarterfinals at the 2024 Paris Olympics held in Anvalid, Paris, France on the 3rd (Korea time). In the quarterfinals that followed, Shim Ji-hyun won a 6-3 27-27-28 29-26 victory over Alejandro Valencia (Mexico), completing the match between Korean players. The Korean women's archery team secured a silver medal.

Jeon previously beat Britain's Penny Healy 6-2 (27-28 28-26 28-25) in the round of 64 and Germany's Charlene Schwarz 7-1 (28-25 29-28-28-26 30-26) in the round of 32. He struggled a bit in the round of 16. 6-4 (27-28, 28-26, 28-25, 25-29, 28-25) came from behind to beat Lei Chen Ying (Taiwan).

Jeon Hoon-young, who reached the quarterfinals, took the first set 28-26, but in the second set, Gokir shot 29 points and gave up the set.
