The tight one-point game tilted as Kiwoom scored an additional point in the bottom of the sixth inning. Leadoff hitter Lee Ju-hyung opened the scoring with an infield hit. Ko Young-woo's sacrifice bunt led to one out and second base. Lee Ju-hyung continued his scoring chance as he succeeded in stealing a bold third base.

With Song Sung-moon's walk on base, one out and runners on first and third bases. Kim Gun-hee stepped down with a strikeout, but Bae Sang-kwon's hit became a timely hit that fell in front of center field, followed by third baseman Song Sung-moon, who came home from third base. SSG kept missing chances. In the top of the seventh inning, the flow was cut off by Lee Ji-young's double play after leadoff hitter Ha Jae-hoon's hit, and in the eighth inning, both Jihoon Choi and pinch hitter Han Yu-sum were out with a fly ball with one out.

SSG Elias pitched well with three runs in seven innings, but Furado was responsible for eight scoreless innings, bringing the atmosphere.
