The Korea Professional Football Federation announced on the 14th that Gangwon striker Lee Sang-heon was selected as the MVP of the 26th round of the 'Hana Bank K League 1 2024'. The best 11 and MVP of the K League round will be selected through quantitative and qualitative evaluation by the Technical Research Group (TSG) under the Korean Professional Football Federation's Technical Committee. TSG members assigned to K-League games in each round will select the best 11 and MOM (Man Of the Match), respectively. After that, a TSG match evaluation meeting will be held to finalize the K League 1 and 2 Best 11 of the round by combining the TSG committee's rating and opinions and the K-League's official additional data company 'Vipro' ratings for the players selected as the best 11 for each game. The round MVP selects the MOM of each game as a candidate group and then selects it in the same way as the best 11.
Lee Sang-heon was recognized for his performance in leading the 2-1 victory by shooting multiple goals in the Gimcheon Sangmu match on the 9th.
