Kiwoom Heroes escaped their long nightmare in Changwon.

Kiwoom won 12-7 in an away game against the NC Dinos at Changwon NC Park on the 5th.

Kiwoom escaped from six consecutive losses and won its 54th game (73 losses) of the season. He also escaped a 16-game losing streak in Changwon. NC ended its five-game winning streak and lost for the 66th time (two draws and 57 wins) of the season.

Kiwoom's starting players were Lee Joo-hyung (center fielder), Kim Hye-sung (second baseman), Song Sung-moon (third baseman), Kim Gun-hee (capture), Choi Joo-hwan (first baseman), Jang Jae-young (right wing), Byun Sang-won (designated hitter), Kim Byung-hwi (striker), and Park Joo-hong (left wing).

NC formed the starting lineup in the order of Park Min-woo (2nd baseman), Seo Ho-cheol (3rd baseman), Matt Davidson (1st baseman), Kwon Hee-dong (left fielder), Kim Hwi-jip (designated hitter), Chun Jae-hwan (right fielder), Kim Joo-won (striker), Park Se-hyuk (catcher), and Choi Jung-won (middle fielder).

Ha Young-min did not receive defensive help. Ha Young-min went down the mound after allowing five runs (two earned runs) in five innings.

Kiwoom scored the first run in the top of the second inning. Bae Sang-kwon and Kim Byung-hwi drew a walk, and Park Joo-hong's fly ball to center field made it 1st and 3rd base with 1 out. Since then, Lee Jae-hak's wild pitch has led to Bae Sang-kwon's homecoming.

Kiwoom clearly led with two home runs in the top of the third inning. Song Sung-moon's walk and Kim Gun-hee's two-run shot broke out. After Jang Jae-young drew a walk after one out, Kim Byung-hwi's first home run was followed. The score is 5-0.

Kiwoom's score continued in the top of the fourth inning. He added one more run with a double with Song Sung-moon after two outs, and a solo home run by leadoff hitter Jang Jae-young in the top of the fifth inning made it 7-0.

NC's counterattack began at the end of the fifth inning. Leading hitter Kim Joo-won got on base with a hit to the right and made NC's first score with a wild pitch and Choi Jung-won's timely hit. After that, Park Min-woo got a ground ball error to the second base, and NC, which had a full base chance with Seo Ho-chul's infield hit, narrowed the gap to 2-7 with Davison's sacrifice fly.

NC, which changed the atmosphere, made a big inning in the bottom of the sixth inning. Leading hitter Kim Hwi-jip hit a single, and added a point with a hit by Chun Jae-hwan and an error from Kim Joo-won's at-bat.

As the crisis continued on the first and third bases with no outs, Kiwoom eventually lowered starter Ha Young-min and raised Kim Yeon-joo. Park Se-hyuk drew a grounder to shortstop, but the third baseman homered.

Kim Yeon-joo's ball control shook sharply. After Choi Jung-won drew a walk, Park Min-woo stepped down with a fly ball, but Seo Ho-chul went out with a hit ball and loaded the bases. Davison's sweeping double made the score 7-7.

A march of zero from the seventh inning. In the end, he couldn't decide the game in the regular inning.

Kiwoom broke the balance in the top of the 11th inning. Park Soo-jong hit the shortstop and fell back. Meanwhile, Park Soo-jong settled on second base. Later, Lee Joo-hyung's timely hit took the lead 8-7 again.

Kiwoom, which once again brought the flow, continued its chances on the first and second bases as a pitcher's ground ball from Kim Joo-hyung's at-bat led to a shortstop catch error, and Song Sung-moon's timely hit widened the score to 9-7.

NC lowered Kim Si-hoon, who was on the mound, and raised Han Jae-seung. Kim Gun-hee was grounded out, but after giving up consecutive walks to Choi Joo-hwan and Lee Seung-won, Ko Young-woo hit a two-run timely hit, sealing the game 11-7. Since then, Kiwoom's score has risen to 12 points with a walk to push.

NC's leadoff hitter Do Tae-hoon got on base due to an opponent's error, but it did not lead to a score.

Following Ha Young-min (5 runs and 2 earned runs in 5 innings), Kim Yeon-joo (two runs in 1 inning), Kim Sun-ki (one scoreless inning), Kim Dong-wook (two scoreless innings), Cho Young-gun (one scoreless inning), and Joo Seung-woo (one scoreless inning) came up to lay the groundwork for victory.

After Lee Jae-hak went down to six runs in four innings, Bae Jae-hwan (one run in two innings), Ryu Jin-wook (one scoreless inning), Lim Jung-ho (one scoreless inning), Kim Jae-yeol (one scoreless inning), Kim Si-hoon (three runs and one earned run in one ⅔) and Han Jae-seung (two runs in one ⅔) took the mound in turn.
