The third Asian qualifying round for the North-China World Cup is becoming the manager's grave.

Coach Graham Arnold (61), who led Australia after Oman, also resigned.

The Australian Football Association announced on the 20th (Korea time) "Coach Arnold resigned." he announced. According to the association, Arnold expressed his intention to resign earlier this week, and the association's board reportedly accepted it.

Arnold, who was interim Australia coach from 2006 to 2007, took the official leadership from August 2018 and led the national team for six years, reaching the round of 16 at the 2022 Qatar World Cup. However, in the third qualifying round, he failed to overcome the public opinion of his resignation as he showed a big drop in his report card.

Earlier, the coach was also replaced in Oman, which belongs to the same group as South Korea. On the 20th, the Oman Football Association parted ways with Jaroslav Silhabi and appointed Rashid Jabeur from his own country' announced.
