Former chairman Shin made the claim on YouTube on the 6th when he expressed his thoughts on the recent Badminton Association incident on the YouTube broadcast 'Shin Gye-ryun Talk'.
Former chairman Shin, a four-term lawmaker and the 29th chairman of the National Assembly from 2013 to 2016, said on the broadcast that `As the first step to solving the problem in the current situation, Chairman Kim Taek-kyu of the association should voluntarily resign"I think that's how Chairman Kim or the association can protect the honor of the association and Chairman Kim without being exposed to ugly looks anymore," he advised.
Before becoming the head of the Badminton Association in the past, Shin left his position as a member of the National Assembly and worked as a famous badminton lover in his constituency (Seongbuk-gu) for nearly 30 years, and even after taking office as chairman, he resigned after being evaluated as successfully leading the association.
