'GREEN VIBES RACE' is a program that not only spreads the value of environmental problem awareness but also social contribution activities with participants based on healthy running.
Jeonbuk prepared this program to promote ESG (Environmental: Social, Governance) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practice, and spent time thinking about the environment and society together by running about 5km around the Jeonju World Cup Stadium, including the Jeonju Stadium and the outskirts of the stadium.
Jeonbuk, which recruited participants on August 23, completed recruiting 50 fans in one day. On the day of the event, the applicants and the entire cheering family were also together, leading to a hot response from fans.
Fans gathered in the tunnel for the team's entrance in Jeonju Castle at 7 a.m. had a pleasant excitement while touring the locker room before the start of the running.
Afterwards, to prevent injuries, he stretched under the guidance of trainers Kim Jae-oh and Park Jung-hoon and started running in three groups.
In particular, in addition to the fans who applied for the participation, Jeonbuk legends Choi Chul-soon and Lee Soo-bin, coach Cho Sung-hwan and coach Park Won-jae made a surprise appearance and played with the fans, and after the end, photos and autographs were conducted to add fan friendliness.
All participants received an eco-friendly wooden medal' after completing the 5km course, and the proceeds from the Jeonbuk Hyundai team donation and uniform auction sales will be used for forest restoration campaigns to respond to climate disasters in Jeollabuk-do.
Jeonbuk said it will successfully finish 'GREEN VIBES RACE' and create the club's heritage through annual hosting of the program rather than one-time.
