Completion of the KBO Kids Club T-Ball Competition
The '2024 Kids Club Club Team Competition T-Ball Contest' held at the KBO Baseball Center in Boeun-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, was completed on the 28th by KBO and 10 clubs to provide more benefits to children's members during the season and to expand positive experiences in baseball.

A total of 200 children's members, 20 from each club, participated in the T-ball tournament, and ▲LG-Kim Yong-dal ▲KT-Jung Myung-won ▲SSG-Chae Byung-yong ▲NC-Choi Keumgang ▲Doosan-Lee Hyun-seung ▲KIA-Kim Jong-mo ▲Lotte-Kim Kon-ju ▲Samsung-Jung In-wook ▲Hanwha-Jang Jong-hoon ▲Kium-Oh Joo-won, 10 retired players became the coaches of each team and played with the children's members to make memories.

In this tournament, 10 teams competed in a tournament manner. As a result, the Samsung Lions became the first winner, and in the Home Run King Contest, Kwon Oh-hoon of the Doosan Bears and Lee Da-bin of the SSG Landers became the male and female winners, respectively. Cultural gift certificates were awarded to the first winner, the Samsung Lions, and the winners of the Home Run King Contest. In addition, all participants were presented with KBO goods and 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League official ball as gifts, and Dong-A Otsuka, the official KBO beverage sponsor, provided bottled water and Pocari Sweat to replenish moisture for participants.

Kim Tae-hyun of the winning Samsung Lions says, "I was able to win the championship with my friends who support the Samsung Lions. I want to become a great baseball player by practicing hard what I learned from the legendary coaches through the T-Ball Festival."," he said.

Coach Jang Jong-hoon, who participated as a legendary retired player and served as the daily manager of the Hanwha team, said, `I'm proud to see the children play as much as they want through the T-ball, and I want to tell you one more thing," he said, adding, `It would be nice to have more opportunities like today, where children can easily and safely access baseball in the future.'

Meanwhile, KBO will support various events to attract future generations of fans along with thanking the 10 million spectators.
