It was regrettable for Gwangju FC coach Lee Jung-hyo. Gwangju lost 0-2 to Daejeon Hana Citizen in the 29th round of the 'Hana Bank K League 1 2024' held at Daejeon World Cup Stadium on the 1st, allowing consecutive goals to Yoon Do-young and Kim In-kyun. Gwangju, which has lost two consecutive games, remained at 37 points and maintained its ranking at 7th. Gwangju struggled under pressure from Daejeon on the day. Director Lee said "Of course. I think I worked hard by bringing out the capabilities I have as much as possible."
Gwangju now has to play with the Asian Champions League. Manager Lee "You have to compete with the players you have today. I think I can give him a good break during the two-week break and come back and play as usual.
